How to use
Enter a value, then choose the conversion direction and horsepower standard. Mechanical hp and metric PS are different units.
Worked example
1 kW → about 1.3410 hp or 1.3596 PS. 1 hp → about 0.7457 kW.
Application notes
Check whether the nameplate specifies HP, hp or PS. This unit conversion does not calculate motor efficiency.
